April 22 Beijing Mon

Took the cable ride up a portion of The Great Wall. Good choice Randy. There were still a lot of steps to climb. Laurie didn't make it up to the top, but everyone else did. I didn't do the toboggan down wish I had. Randy said it was great.

The Cloisonné Factory was very interesting along with The silk factory. We bought some nice souvenirs there.

Next was the "Free" Foot massage. During the massage a "doctor" appeared and told us what ailed us. He was not very accurate. He then whipped out a prescription pad and started writing! His prescription was for a year's supply of very expensive tea to soak tour feet in - so much for free.

We said no thank you. Anton and Laurie bought a small supply. We felt pretty good after the massage- aside from the pitch it was awesome.

It was quite a workout, but we made it to the top.

It was worth it with lovely views

Just a portion of our hike!

Glad we didn't have to walk the entire way.

Now for nourishment!

What's for lunch? Chinese of course.
